DESULFURIZATION TOWER

One of the methods used to prevent the damage to the process and process equipment by the hydrogen sulfide gas (H₂S) in the biogas is the chemical washing of the biogas.

Unlike chemical desulphurization systems, biogas does not come into contact with any chemicals in biological desulphurization systems. Hydrogen sulfide removal is provided by a special bacterial species formed in the tower and clinging to the filled surfaces.
